I am a current student in the RRU MSc of Environment and Management program while I am working at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito. My area of study focuses on sciences necessary for applied management. The California coast is a perfect place or this type of interest. While I am still putting the pieces of my thesis together I am interested in investigating causes for stranding in pinnipeds that may help lead to a prediction model to assist the stranding network optimize resource preparation and allocation.
