Zac Schakner – PhD student

I am interested in using principles of animal learning to mitigate the conflict between fisheries and marine mammals.  For my Phd research, I’m testing and developing non-lethal deterrents that are based on how pinnipeds perceive, respond, and learn from threat.  zchnakner@ucla.edu
